$39 MM Construction Loan, Boutique Hotel, Cambridge, MA
CSCREFi arranged a $39 MM construction loan that refinanced a bank construction loan mid project. The sponsors successfully added FAR to their project during their construction. Their bank lender was not able to increase their existing loan commensurately. We tapped trapped equity in two other assets, infused the project with new equity and refinanced the loan with a new, non-recourse construction loan. The exciting boutique hotel with a restaurant and Cambridge's only indoor/ outdoor rooftop bar/ restaurant and an additional upscale restaurant and retail on the first floor will open Q3 2020.
